No one imagines she is capable of murder. After an investigation in which numerous seemingly common suspects are considered, his mother, Julie Rae Harper is charged with the crime as the town is in disbelief. October 13, 1997, 10-year-old Joel Kirkpatrick of Lawrenceville, Illinois, is stabbed to death by an intruder in the middle of the night. Note: This episode was a "sneak peek" episode.
